Yashika is a registered Sonographer with 20 years of experience, with an emphasis in MFM for over 10 years. As a travel sonographer for 11 years, she has worked in many diverse clinical settings. She also holds certifications in the following: nuchal translucency, nasal bone, and CLEAR. After traveling for 11 years, she decided to make Fort Mill, SC her home.
She is most proud of the fact that she continues to have a strong passion for scanning. She gets excited seeing her patient’s reactions of seeing their baby for the first time. She chose PMC because she likes the vision that was laid out for growing the practice. Upon learning about the groundbreaking procedures that Dr. Stephenson has performed, I was very eager to work with her. Yashika’s role as a Perinatal Sonographer is to perform detailed anatomy scans in order to detect any fetal structural defects, ensure adequate blood flow, and assess good fetal movement.
She is from northeast Georgia. When she is not working, she enjoys catching a good movie with her mom or enjoying seafood from one of their favorite restaurants.
